Your hand and power tools may be stored in a secure garage, workshop or shed but they’re not immune to rust. So, if you’ve found orange-brown specks and are wondering how rust developed on your expensive equipment, it’s likely something to do with the humidity or lack of insulation in the room. However, before you buy a dehumidifier or install insulation, use 3-IN-ONE Penetrant Spray to remove rust and protect your tools.
Whether you’re here for a quick reminder or to find out how to use penetrant for the first time – read on for step-by-step instruction.
Spray our penetrant over the rusted parts of your tools to penetrate and loosen seized parts, then leave to sink in for a couple of minutes.
Using a clean cloth, wipe away the rust.
Apply a couple drops of 3-IN-ONE Multi-Purpose Oil onto the metal parts of your tools, then wipe over with a clean cloth to lubricate and protect.
