How to maintain gym equipment
Your exercise bike is a great way to keep fit at home and a fun way to keep beating your personal best. However, to ensure you’re well-prepared to give it your all every time you jump on, it’s important to maintain your equipment, so you’re not working against one another. In this blog, we’ll cover how to maintain gym equipment with 3-IN-ONE Multi-Purpose Drip Oil.

- Damp, soft cloth
Step 1
Maintenance tasks for regular cyclists
After each session, use a damp, soft cloth to wipe the saddle, handles and pedals. Remove sweat that has found its way onto your exercise bike as it can cause metal parts to rust – a quick wipe down will keep it looking new.
Step 2
Monthly maintenance tasks
Pay particular attention to the braking system as this is the part that sets the intensity of your sessions. Apply a drop of Drip Oil onto the flywheel and work it through.
Step 3
You will also want to lubricate the following with your 3 in one oil:
- Handlebars
- Seat and height adjustment mechanism
- Pressure buttons
Keep your bike in good shape so it keeps you in good shape!
